About Us

Keeping Little Malta Sharp Since The 50s

Just steps from the Junction, this space has been a fixture in Little Malta since the 1950s; originally established as a neighbourhood barbershop and remaining one ever since. In 2023, it was thoughtfully restored and reopened as Cornerstone Barber Shop. Today, we carry forward that legacy with a commitment to traditional barbering and quality service in Toronto’s West End.

What if I’m running late or need to cancel?

Do you offer kids’ haircuts?

Yes — we cut kids’ hair ages 5 and up. We ask that children be able to sit unattended, without food or devices, for the duration of the service.

Each service is $40.

Do you sell any styling products?

We do! We carry a curated selection of styling products available for purchase in the shop. Feel free to ask for a recommendation.


Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, no. For health and safety reasons, we follow the City of Toronto’s guidelines prohibiting pets in personal service settings.


Why do you cut away from the mirror?

It’s a more traditional setup. While it might feel unusual at first, it allows us to better assess fades and tapers using the mirror as a tool — not a distraction. It also helps us greet patrons and keeps the atmosphere in the shop more conversational and relaxed.
